Daniel Jordan has been the director of artistic planning for Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota since 2021. He is responsible for selecting all concert artists and for overseeing the musical activity of the organization. A violinist himself, Daniel is also the concertmaster of the Sarasota Orchestra and the principal second violinist of the Santa Fe Opera Orchestra. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he studied with Donald Weilerstein and David Updegraff.
