Revel in the beauty of Selby Gardens while exploring a fascinating fusion of Baroque elegance and South American vibrancy. Bach in the Americas premiered in Europe in March 2025, and features powerhouse Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno leading a program focused on the influence that the music of Johann Sebastian Bach has had on centuries of composers in the Americas. Moreno is a regular soloist with major European and American orchestras whom music critics have dubbed “Spain’s perfect musical ambassador.” Repertoire includes works by J.S. Bach, Villa-Lobos, and Piazzolla.

This open seating concert event will be held outdoors at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, weather permitting. In case of rain the concert will move indoors to the Event Center. 

Please do not arrive any earlier than 5:00 pm for entry. The entrance for the concert will be at the gate in front of Payne Mansion. Complimentary parking is available inside the LEAF (Living Energy Access Facility) parking garage, which is accessible from Mound St./US 41 and South Orange Ave. Golf carts will be available to assist those who may have difficulty walking from the parking garage to the concert venue.

A cash bar by Michael's on East will also be available. Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather and the time of day.
