Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota presents The Katona Twins in “The Celluloid Guitar”

The program features a tribute to Leonard Bernstein, as well as music from “The Pink Panther,” “The Deer Hunter,” “Game of Thrones,” original works and arrangements and much more. Tickets are $35. The group’s wide repertoire spans from Bach and Mozart to Piazzolla's tango music to their arrangements of pop classics. Several contemporary composers have written for and dedicated works to them. The Katona Twins have performed in such major concert venues as Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Philharmonie in Cologne, and with such renowned artists as Yo-Yo Ma, the BBC Concert Orchestra and London Sinfonietta.
